DescriptionKey Role:
Maintain responsibility for the support and maintenance of production enterprise databases running on Solaris. Design and implement high-availability solutions, including backup and recovery and lead performance tuning activities to maintain high service levels, system performance, capacity planning, and management reporting on the health of the database environments. Provide technical support to application development teams and database architecture as part of database development projects.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -7+ years of experience with Oracle 9i and 10g -5+ years of experience with Solaris -5+ years of experience with Solaris 10g tuning -5+ years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BS degree   Additional Qualifications: -Knowledge of Perl, AWK, SED, and Pro*c development -MA or MS degree in CS   Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
